The Kendalls Yamron Jewelers
How Benji and Laura are making the luxury jewelry business more personal in Naples.

Benji and Laura Kendall are no strangers to competition. Both boasting competitive tennis backgrounds, Benji has played practically since the time he could walk, claiming status as a two-time All-American before playing Division 1 tennis at Penn State University. Laura likewise played from a young age and played throughout her college career at a similar Division 1 school. So, when the two graduated from their respective universities with degrees in business and marketing, it was an effortless transition from the high-stakes world of D1 athletics to the world of high-luxury jewelry.

Since Laura and Benji moved to Naples, more than a decade ago, to take on Yamron Jewelers, they’ve used their combined business savvy and strong emphases on client transparency to keep this family business going strong. —  From their start, the Kendall’s have been focused on making the luxury jewelry business personal. The two continue to channel their drive into supporting their community, as well as their clients’ happiest and most special moments.

“As Benji and I come up on our tenth season in Naples, we started to reflect on all the great customer relationships we’ve created and built,” says Laura. “We’ve seen customers’ kids get married and have children… We’re in a happy business. We get to be a part of clients’ happiest moments, as they purchase for the most memorable times in their lives — anniversaries, birthdays, etc.” -Laura Kendall

Being a part of their clients’ most important life moments is one of the couples favorite parts of their job, creating unforgettable experiences to be enjoyed and shared.

“We’ll bring them to visit the factories of some of the best watch brands in the world, and we invite them to dinners so we can connect on a more personal level,” Laura describes.

The Kendalls

But the Kendalls’ generosity extends beyond the Yamron client list. The couple are devoted philanthropists, involved with the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, Boys and Girls Club of Collier County and the Naples’ Humane Society, all of which carry a personal significance for the two.

“Our niece was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes when she was 6 years old, therefore the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation is an organization that is near and dear to our hearts and something we will always support,” notes Laura. “The Boys and Girls Club of Collier County is another organization that is very important to us — giving children another opportunity to grow and succeed in life

Benji and I also have two dogs, Winston and Theo, who we love so much and are so important to us, so supporting animals who are abandoned is likewise very important.”

When speaking with the Kendalls, it’s clear to see just how much they care for their clients, community and the entire Yamron team.

We have such a close-knit, personal staff, who are like an extended family for Benji and me, and clients feel that. It allows them to open up to us and make us a part of their family as well,” Benji says.

“We believe Naples is one of the most unique places in the world, with some of the nicest, most pleasant people to work with … We couldn’t imagine doing business anywhere else.”
